We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the availability, performance, and scalability of our systems and infrastructure. With expertise in AWS and proficiency in Go, or Python, you will collaborate closely with development and operations teams to design, build, and maintain robust systems that meet the demands of our growing business.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructure using AWS.
- Develop tools and automation scripts in Go, or Python to improve system reliability and performance.
- Monitor and manage system performance, availability, and capacity planning.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless deployment processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system and application incidents, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote best practices in system design, development, and operations.
- Conduct root cause analysis of production issues and implement long-term fixes.
- Establish and maintain system monitoring, logging, and alerting tools.
- Continuously improve infrastructure reliability and development processes through automation.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in cloud computing and SRE.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience in AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, etc.).
- Proficiency in at least one programming language: Go, or Python.
- Strong understanding of Linux/Unix systems and networking concepts.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, CloudWatch).
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
